JJ act to ensure best interest of children: Chief Justice

Jammu, Feb 03 (KNS): Justice Geeta mittal Chief justice j&k high court asked various units of ICPS and juvenile Justice to work for the best interest of the children. She was addressing a consultative workshop organised by ICPS in collaboration with Save the children.
Justice Hasnain Masoodi chairperson SCOC, SMD G A Sofi Member SCOC Rajiv khajuria and Sharif bhat General Manager Save the Children, Mohammad Hussain KAS, Administrative Officer ICPS and ICPS units across Jammu division were present on the occassion. State Mission Director presented detailed report on. Progress of CWCs JJBs and other ICPS units he gave the number of cases and shared important case studies.
Chief Justice while elaborating further shared many cases and disclosed that how judicial innovations made lasting changes in the lives of children.
Justice Masoodi in his address thanked chief justice for being proactive to the juvenile Justice delivery system. He assured that SCOC is extending all support to ICPS to keep system s in place and working. (KNS)
