Gurez, Jan 2 (KNS): Authorities on Friday resumed vehicular movement on the Bandipora–Gurez road on a controlled basis from the Gurez side after a brief closure caused by harsh weather.
Officials said the decision was taken after road conditions improved and necessary clearance work was completed in vulnerable stretches. Traffic is being allowed in a regulated manner to ensure the safety of commuters.

Authorities have advised commuters to follow traffic instructions strictly and avoid unnecessary travel, as the road remains sensitive to sudden weather changes. Traffic and road maintenance teams have been deployed to monitor the situation continuously.
