Isreal July 21, (KNS): Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been diagnosed with food poisoning, leading to a temporary pause in his official duties. His office confirmed on Sunday that the 75-year-old leader fell seriously ill overnight and is now being treated for intestinal inflammation and dehydration.
Doctors have advised Netanyahu to rest at home for the next three days. During this time, he will continue to manage state affairs remotely while receiving IV fluids as part of his recovery.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The illness has also caused another delay in his ongoing corruption trial, which has already seen multiple postponements since it began in May 2020. According to The Times of Israel, the next court hearing is not expected before September due to the court's summer recess.
Previous delays in the trial were attributed to the Gaza war and rising tensions with Iran and Lebanon.(KNS)
