J&K police organising function on International Women’s Day

Jammu, Mar 06 (KNS): To observe International Women’s Day-2018, Jammu and Kashmir Police is organising a felicitation and cultural programme titled “Mere Rashke Qamar” on March 8, 2018 at General Zorawar Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu.
The function is being organised to honour the families of martyrs and women achievers of J&K Police, who have made outstanding contribution in the discharge of duty in policing. First Lady of J&K State, Usha Vohra, will be the Chief Guest at the function.
Those who will be honoured on this day include Shaheen Ayoub wife of late Dy.S.P Mohammad Ayoub Pandit, SI Rifat Jan wife of Late Inspector Mohammad Altaf Dar and Mubina Akhter wife of late SI Feroz Ahmad Dar.
Bharti Vaid, Chairperson Police Wives Welfare Association, Dyuti Rani Doley IPS, Director SVP National Police Academy Hyderabad, Sargun Shukla IPS, SP Leh, Anita Sharma, SSP, Naila Zahoor, FA/CAO, PHQ, Shahzada Parveen, SP, Mamta Sharma, SP, Ms. Rano Kundal, Dy.SP, Rajni Sharma, Dy. SP, Shakti Devi, Inspr., Renu Rattan, SI and Arti Thakur SI, will also be honoured on the occasion.
In addition, a cultural programme will be presented by performers of J&K Police who will showcase their diverse talent on the occasion. (KNS)
