Srinagar, Oct 18 (KNS): Expressing shock and sorrow over the martyrdom of Zahid Ahmad, an Udhampur attack victim, Dukhtaran-e-Millat president Syedah Aasiyeh Andrabi has appealed the leader of the movement Syed Ali Shah Geelani to call for a mass protest against the continued brutality of Hindutva fanatics. She said that a customary strike cannot be an appropriate reaction to such brutalities instead an economic boycott with the Jammu people should be announced and not a single truck should be allowed to enter the valley.
In a statement issued to the press Syedah Aasiyeh Andrabi said that whole valley is shocked to see Zahid dying a painful death after he was attacked by the Hindu fanatic goons . She said that two youth are still admitted in the hospital and after Zahid’s martyrdom we fear about their well being. She said that Jammu Kashmir has been virtually given in the hands of RSS and other Hindutu forces by those who were talking of restoring the honour and dignity of Kashmir. Syedah Aasiyeh Andrabi said that the Hindu fanatics have crossed limits and have made the real owners of the state insecure. “Another son has been killed by the Hindutva goons, a strike has been called which is good, even I support and appeal people to observe a complete strike, but I have been time and again telling that the customary strikes cannot help instead an impressive and effective program needs to be given and the nation should follow religiously” Syedah Aasiyeh Andrabi said.
Dukhtaran e Millat president appealed the leader of the movement Syed Ali Shah Geelani to call for a mass protest instead of a token strike. “Why we should be killed by the Hindu goons one by one, let the nation be asked to come on the streets and let’s start a final battle for the freedom” she said and added “if India wants to kill us let she bombard us instead of getting us killed one by one”.
Dukhtaran e Millat president further said that she has already suggested that whole leadership should join heads and make a well thought stratigy of proactive movement to take the movement to its logical end. However she said that as a short term strategy an economic boycott should be done with Jammu and not a single truck should be allowed to enter valley to stop the Hindutva goons
Syedah aasiyeh andrabi apealed the students of IUST to boycott the convocation to be held tomorrow and never let Indian education minister samriti irani to give u certificates.u must as a token of protest teach her a lesson that we the kashmiri educated youth can't live a life of slaves and as solidarity with zahid shaheed,s family you must boycott the entire function.
