India-UK Trade Pact Will Boost Jobs, Opportunities for Youth, Farmers, MSMEs: PM Modi

London, July 24 (KNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi, speaking after talks with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, hailed the signing of the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) between India and the United Kingdom as a "historic day" in bilateral relations, calling it a roadmap for shared prosperity.

“After years of hard work, this agreement is not just about economic partnership but a plan for shared growth,” PM Modi said as per KNS.

The deal will give Indian textiles, footwear, gems and jewellery, seafood, engineering goods, and agricultural produce better access to the UK market. Modi said the agreement will particularly benefit India’s youth, farmers, fishermen, and MSME sector, creating new opportunities in the British market.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

“This partnership between two democratic nations and major global economies will drive investment, create jobs, and strengthen global stability and prosperity,” Modi added.(KNS)
