Srinagar, Jul 11 (KNS): Inam Un Nabi Socio political activist today at Pratap Park, Lalchowk Srinagar called on protesting contractual teachers and listened to their genuine demands.

He expressed his pain over the fact that in the middle of the session the cream of society teachers have been laid off hitting badly them and also the academic picture of our state.

Inam Un Nabi welcomed the assurance from the Governor Satya Pal Malik on Re-engaging these teachers and reposed faith that as a man of principles Governor would soon fulfil the commitments.

Inam made it clear that teachers are the builders of nation and they need to be treated well, and role of contractual teachers has been emphatic in giving right direction to our education system.

He hoped that these midsession disengaging of teachers would be avoided in future so that system of education runs smoothly.

It is worth to mention here that these teachers are protesting from last 65 days. (KNS)
