SrinagarJan 02 (KNS): All J&K Shia Association President and General Secretary of Jammu & Kashmir Peoples Conference (JKPC), Imran Reza Ansari, has extended heartfelt greetings to the people of Jammu & Kashmir, the nation, and the global Muslim Ummah on the auspicious occasion of 13th Rajab, the birth anniversary of Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (A.S.), the Commander of the Faithful and the timeless symbol of justice, courage, and compassion.
In his message, Imran Reza Ansari said that the life of Imam Ali (A.S.) is a complete school of thought for humanity, transcending sects, religions, and eras. “Imam Ali (A.S.) taught us that justice is the foundation of governance, compassion is the soul of leadership, and truth is never to be compromised, even in the most difficult circumstances,” he said.
Quoting Imam Ali (A.S.), he reminded the people:
“People are of two kinds: either your brothers in faith or your equals in humanity.”
He added that this golden principle is especially relevant today, when societies are struggling with division, injustice, and moral confusion. “If we truly internalise this teaching, peace and mutual respect can be restored not only in Jammu & Kashmir but across the world,” he said.
Ansari further quoted Imam Ali (A.S.):

He urged the youth to draw inspiration from Imam Ali’s (A.S.) life by prioritising knowledge, ethical conduct, and service to society over hatred and narrow interests.
Expressing deep concern over the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Palestine, Imran Reza Ansari offered special prayers for the oppressed people. “On this sacred day, we pray that Allah grants patience and strength to the people of Palestine, heals the wounded, protects the innocent, and brings an end to oppression and bloodshed,” he said, adding that Imam Ali’s (A.S.) unwavering stand with the oppressed remains a guiding light for all believers.
He also prayed for lasting peace, stability, and harmony in Jammu & Kashmir and across India. “May this blessed occasion become a source of unity, reconciliation, and brotherhood among all communities. We pray that our land is protected from violence, hatred, and division, and that the youth are guided towards a future of hope, dignity, and constructive engagement,” he stated.
Concluding his message, Imran Reza Ansari prayed that Allah enables everyone to follow the path of Imam Ali (A.S.) in letter and spirit. “May we become ambassadors of justice, voices for the oppressed, and builders of peace, just as Imam Ali (A.S.) was throughout his life,” he said.(KNS)
