Imam Mahdi’s AS birth anniversary observed in Kashmir

Srinagar, Apr 20 (KNS): A number of conferences were held across Kashmir to mark the birth anniversary of the 12th and the last Shia Imam, Imam Mahdi (AS). The conferences were organized by Anjuman Shari Shian and it was attended by hundreds of people including students.

In his address, President Anjuman Shari Shain, Aga Syed Hasan Almosvi Alsafvi said that Imam Mahdi is the prophesied redeemer, who will bring peace and justice to the world.

He said the Imam Mehdi (A.S.) will raise the flag of justice and fair-play after his Zahoor with the Illahi desire, will gather the oppressed people around him, root out the oppressors and their rules and will place the real Islamic judicial system which will remove fear, harassment and will imbibe them with the blessings, peace and satisfaction.

On this occasion, Aga Hasan also threw light on the importance of Shab-e-Barat. A large number of people addressed the congregation which included Syed Muhammad Hussain Mosvi, Syed Yousuf Mosvi, Syed Muhammad Safvi, Sheikh Ghulam Ahmed, Molvi Nisar Hussain and Molvi Syed Hussain Mosvi. (KNS)
