Imam Hussain (RA) Foundation meets AIP Leadership, Seeks Support for Charitable Healthcare

Srinagar, Dec 17 (KNS) :The management of Imam Hussain (RA) Foundation Kashmir, which runs the Imam Hussain (RA) Charitable Hospital met Awami Itihaad Party (AIP) delegation led by State Secretary Sheikh Ashiq, accompanied by Secretary Finance Parveez Ahmad Bhat and other senior leaders at Bemina, Srinagar.

According to a press release issued ,During the meeting, the hospital management apprised the delegation of the institution’s role in providing affordable and lifesaving healthcare to economically weaker sections of society. A memorandum was handed over highlighting urgent requirements, including an oxygen generator plant, ventilators, a critical care ambulance, and an anaesthesia workstation for the operation theatre, to strengthen emergency and critical care services.

In meeting Sheikh Ashiq said, “Institutions like Imam Hussain (RA) Hospital are rendering selfless service to humanity. Supporting such efforts is a moral responsibility, and AIP will pursue these genuine demands at appropriate forums so that quality healthcare reaches the poor and vulnerable without obstacles.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

Sheikh Ashiq further said that incarcerated MP Baramulla Er Rashid has conveyed his encouragement and appreciation for the humanitarian work of the Foundation, noting that the institution falls within his parliamentary jurisdiction. Er Rashid, he said, has assured that all possible support including assistance from MP funds, will be extended to strengthen the hospital’s critical healthcare infrastructure.

The meeting was also attended by members of civil society, including prominent businessman Rouf Ahmad Punjabi, former President KCCI, Shabir Hussain and others. The hospital management present included Haji Mohammad Ismail Chairman, Adil Hussain General Secretary, Haji Mirza Nasir Ali, Trustee, Haji Mohammad Yousuf Hussaini Trustee, along with other social activists from the area.(KNS)
