Budgam - Pulwama administration rolling the blame at each other, locals suffer

Budgam May 15 (KNS) : Hundreds of clay ladden  tippers ply during night on B. K  Pora - Pulwama road ( NH- 444) carrying illegally excavated road from the karewas of Khanda & Wanpora falling in the conjoint districts of Budgam and Pulwama. 

 
Local told Kashmir News Service (KNS), That hundreds of clay-laden tippers moving recklessly during night hours, looting the  already exhausted  Karewas of Khanda in Chadoora/B. K Pora, Budgam.
Earlier the land grabbers claimed to have got permission for Govt developmental works but reliable sources revealed that the vehicles which work for the filling of Ring Road ply during day and locals don't face any inconvenience as far as development of ring road  is concerned. 
Locals also said that the land grabbers illegally looting the karewas take the advantage of night hours escaping no permission issue during day. 
 
They said that they have to spend sleepless nights due to the inaction of administration.
 
They said that administration had earlier helped in curbing this menace but this time they have been masked by irrationality.
 
The locals said that the children, women, elderly and sick patients are worst sufferers and appealed administration and police to act.
“A PIL is also filed in the High  court reflecting the helplessness of Govt in curbing land mining.  There have been clear cut directions from High court to district administration Budgam for stemming the land mining of Karewas..
 
Earlier, District Administration including department of Geology and mining claimed to have acted tough against the repeating offenders but their fearless movement reinforces Govt in action.(KNS)
