Srinagar, Mar 20 (KNS): Expressing its serious concern over the unabated human rights violations in Kashmir including harassment and detention of youth and the frequent search operations the Hurriyat Conference (M) has termed it as an eye opener for the world human rights stating that even after the passage of 18 long years of the Chattisinghpora massacre, the justice eludes the families of 35 families whose dear ones were killed in the incident.
Hurriyat (M) expressed its solidarity and sympathy with the families of all the families whose loved ones were killed in Chattisingpora incident and stated that like other dozens of massacres committed by the government forces, the Government of India and also the State’s dispensation continues to adopt a criminal silence even as guilty are roaming free.
Hurriyat (M) said probes announced in Chattisinghpora, Pathribal fake encounter have always been used a weapon to clam the tempers of people and to buy time, adding, not a single probe ordered by the successive regimes so far has been taken to conclusion let alone punishing the guilty.

It said in all these massacres, what people of Kashmir got from the ruling regimes is announcement of probes which actually was a mere eye-wash. The Hurriyat said the fact remains that justice continues to remain a distant dream for their families.
