‘Identify underprivileged people for support’

Anantnag, Nov 27 (KNS): Hope and Holly Trust chairman Dr. Muhammad Ayoub Matoo Monday said that elders and parents should become responsible citizens in restoration of peace and tranquility which is the base for progress and development.
Speaking at a convention in Anantnag town, Dr Matoo asserted that peace and progress can be only a dream until peace is not attained.
He told them to guide their teenagers who are vulnerable to the violence resulting disruption of peace in the state.
He directed his team members to identify the most poverty stricken people and differently abled people or handicapped, widows and violence victims in their respective villages so that their sufferings could somehow be minimized by the trust.
He stressed upon the people to be very cautious to the rumour mongers and selfish scoundrels who always have been holding double standard policy to attain their petty interests by which the common masses are being deceived by their hollow promises.
Intellectuals and dignified citizens of Anantnag town also participated in the convention.
Advocate Resh Paul Singh, Muzzafar Ahmad, M Ayub Shan, M Ashraf Wani and other members spoke on the occasion and Dr Matoo thanked all the participants. (KNS)
