Says ‘she was kind, pious lady’

Srinagar, Sep 04 (KNS): Hizb-ul-Mujahideen on Tuesday paid tributes to the mother of Hurriyat leader General Moosa, terming her as ‘kind and pious lady’.
In an e-mailed statement issued to KNS, Hizb spokesman Saleem Hashmi quoted the outfit chief, Syed Salah-ud-din as saying that “the militants were calling her as ‘nani’ (grandmother) as she loved them like their grandmother.”
According to the statement, speaking in Hizb Command Council meeting, he said that the son of deceased, Tajdar and husband Muhammad Sidiq sacrificed their lives for the freedom struggle.
“The family suffered the atrocities but she continued with her affection towards the freedom struggle,” he added.
According to the statement, the meeting prayed for the eternal peace to the departed soul and also for the courage to the bereaved family. (KNS)
