Handwara, June 24 (KNS): As part of its ongoing public outreach initiative as per the directions of SSP Handwara, Mushtaq Ahmad Choudhary (JKPS), Handwara Police today organized an awareness seminar on the newly enacted criminal laws at Government Higher Secondary School, Qalamabad.
The event witnessed active participation from students and staff of the host institution, along with students from Madrasa Qasim-ul-Uloom, Shirhama. Police officers elaborated on the significant reforms introduced through the legislation, emphasizing speedy justice, stronger victim protection, and enhanced transparency in the justice delivery system. The attendees were also sensitized about their legal rights and civic responsibilities as law-abiding citizens.
