Hakeem Yaseen condemns civilian killings in Kulgam

Urges for immediate CBMs to end ongoing violence


Srinagar, Oct 21 (KNS): Chairman PDF & MLA, Khansahib, Hakeem Yaseen has expressed serious concern over the unabated civilian killings in various parts of Kashmir valley. While condemning the killing of civilians in Laroo village of Kulgam district during an anti militancy operation today, Hakeem Yaseen has urged for an immediate end to ongoing violence as the Kashmir is losing its creamy layer of young generation.
In a statement to KNS, Hakeem Yaseen while condemning civilian killings in Karoo Kulgam today has urged for an immediate end to ongoing bloodshed in the state .He has asked both Central and state Governments to engage youth in a meaningful dialogue to meet their urges and aspirations rather than using military might to douse the flames of their anger. He said ongoing bloodshed in the state will lead to nowhere as resolution of every issue lies in the process of dialogue and reconciliation .He said the sooner India takes sincere initiatives for Confidence Building Measures (CBM), the better it would be for its overall interests. He said in a civilized world there was no room for violence adding that the ugly face of violence in its any form is most condemnable and unwanted. (KNS)
