Expresses grief over demise of Somanth Chatterjee

Srinagar, Aug 14 (KNS): Democratic Party Nationalist (DPN) president and former minister, Ghulam Hassan Mir on Tuesday said that government should take steps to secure the future of fair price shop owners.
He said that the government in 2014 framed a scheme but after the end of their tenure the new government come up with Rehbar-e-Khuraak but the file is still unmoved. “The government must take steps in this to secure the future of fair price shop owners,” he said.
Meanwhile, he expressed grief over the demise of former Lok Sabha leader and CPM veteran Somnath Chatterjee.
Mir extended condolence to the bereaved family and also prayed or the eternal peace to the departed soul.
He also prayed for the courage to the bereaved family. (KNS)
