Srinagar, Mar 19 (KNS): Condemning custodial killing of Awantipora J&K People’s Democratic Party demanded a time bound probe into the extra judicial killing of Awantipora resident who was arrested by police and died in custody at Srinagar.
Rafi Ahmad Mir Party’s Chief Spokesperson said that we demand a high level probe by a judge, who will ensure a fair and unbiased probe in the matter. The process of fair investigation will get vitiated in absence of a accountable government.
Mir said that this custodial death of a young man has rattled entire population and it will have far reaching ramifications. Governor sahab must ensure that this incident is answered.
Earlier the Jamaat activists were harassed and now such unacceptable and accounted acts of forces to unleash terror will only push people to the wall. Mir said that government must act responsibly and answer this. (KNS)
