Srinagar, Dec 06 (KNS): Goa produced a calm and confident run chase to defeat Jammu and Kashmir by seven wickets in their Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy Group B match on Saturday. Skipper Suyash Prabhudessai led the victory with a stylish unbeaten 51 off 28 balls, guiding his team home at Eden Gardens.
Goa chased down the 162-run target in 19 overs, thanks to a solid foundation laid by Kashyap Bakhale, who struck a fine 59 from 44 deliveries, hitting eight fours and a six. Their partnership kept the innings steady and ensured no pressure built during the chase.
Earlier, Goa used six bowlers to restrict J&K to 161/6. Shubham Tari delivered the key breakthroughs with an impressive spell of 3 for 30, while Deepak Gaonkar and Vikash Singh picked up one wicket each.

Bihar struggled to find momentum, posting 132/8, with contributions from Piyush Singh (34) and Bipin Saurabh (31)*. Hyderabad’s Tanmay Agarwal stole the show with a commanding unbeaten 67 off 42 balls, sealing the chase with more than eight overs left.
