Girls Volleyball Tournament Held Under CAP 2025 by 18 BN CRPF in Kulgam

Kulgam, July 10 (KNS): In a vibrant display of sportsmanship and youth empowerment, the 18 Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), under the Civic Action Programme (CAP) 2025, organized a Girls Volleyball Tournament in collaboration with the Department of Youth Services and Sports, Kulgam.

The tournament, aimed at promoting sports among young girls and fostering community engagement, featured the participation of eight teams from across the district. The event provided a platform for young female athletes to showcase their skills and team spirit in a healthy and competitive environment.

Muneeb Ahmad Zargar, Secretary of the Youth National Conference, attended the event as Chief Guest, accompanied by Dr. Mohd Akbar from the Sports Department, Kulgam.

In his address, the Chief Guest lauded the CRPF and Youth Services & Sports Department for their initiative in organizing the tournament. He emphasized the role of such events in empowering young girls, fostering leadership qualities, and nurturing a sports culture in the region.

The tournament concluded on a high note, with appreciation for all the teams and a resounding message of unity, discipline, and empowerment through sports.(KNS)
