Urges Immediate Veterinary Intervention
Tangmarg ,Sep 30 (KNS) : Former Cabinet Minister and Apni Party Senior Vice President, Ghulam Hassan Mir, has expressed deep concern over the outbreak of a disease affecting sheep in Lalpora, Kunzer (Wanikhal), with alarming symptoms including body swelling and nasal bleeding.
In a statement issued , Mir urged the Animal & Sheep Husbandry Department and the district administration to immediately depute veterinary experts to the affected areas for timely diagnosis and treatment. He stressed the need for preventive vaccination, supply of adequate medicines, and constant monitoring to curb further spread of the disease.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Highlighting that sheep rearing is the backbone of livelihood for many families in the region,Mir said:
“The government must act swiftly to protect livestock and secure the livelihood of people dependent on it. Immediate steps are required to address this crisis on war footing.”
While extending solidarity with the affected farmers, Mir assured full support and appealed to authorities to keep the local community informed about precautionary measures.(KNS)
