Srinagar,Jan 10 (KNS) : Govt Medical College Srinagar expressed deep grief and sorrow over the demise of Dr Farhat Hameed, Ex-Professor and Head of Unit, Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. A condolence meeting was convened to mourn her sad demise, attended by Principal/Dean GMC Srinagar Prof Dr Iffat Hassan, HODs, Medical Superintendents, and administrative staff.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof Dr Iffat Hassan said, "Prof Dr Farhat Hameed was a distinguished academician, clinician, and teacher, widely revered for her lifelong dedication to Obstetrics and Gynaecology and her selfless service to her patients.She served GMC Srinagar with distinction and always ensured continuity of patient care and medical education.”
