GDC Baramulla hosts lecture on “Personality Disorders and Emotion Regulation”

Baramulla, Oct 23 (KNS) :The Department of Psychology, Government Degree College Baramulla, organized an insightful extension lecture on “Personality Disorders and Emotion Regulation” at the Departmental Hall on October 23 (Thursday).

The lecture was delivered by Dr. Masood Maqbool Mir, Associate Professor, Clinical Psychology, SKIMS Medical College, Bemina, Srinagar.

The session commenced with an introductory address by Dr. Kaiser Ahmad Dar, Head, Department of Psychology, who extended a warm welcome to the guest speaker and highlighted the significance of understanding personality patterns and emotional regulation in both clinical and applied psychology.

In his detailed and engaging presentation, Dr. Masood Maqbool Mir provided a comprehensive overview of personality disorders, their symptoms, diagnostic challenges, and therapeutic approaches. The lecture concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session, where students and faculty members enthusiastically participated, sharing their queries and reflections on real-world applications of the discussed concepts.
