Srinagar, Apr 07 (KNS): Democratic Party Nationalist (DPN) president Ghulam Hassan Mir on Sunday extended his party’s support to AIP chairman Er Rashid for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls in Baramulla parliamentary constituency.

As per Kashmir News Service (KNS) correspondent, talking to reporters at Tangmarg, Mir said, “Er Rashid has emerged as the preferable candidate for the Lok Sabha elections in Baramulla parliamentary constituency and while respecting the sentiment of the people we have decided to support Er Rashid in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.”

Demanding immediate revocation of the ban on civilian traffic on Jammu-Srinagar highway, Mir said, “The ban imposed on Kashmir highway is unjustified and unacceptable. The Governor’s administration should revoke the ban immediately and forthwith.” (KNS)
