Srinagar, Sep 14 (KNS): Democratic Party Nationalist (DPN) president and former minister, Ghulam Hassan Mir called on Governor Satya Pal Malik on Friday.
Mir informed the Governor that yesterday because of unprecedented hailstorm, heavy damage has been caused to fruits and paddy in Magam and in its surroundings.
Governor assured the survey will be conducted and proper help will be provided to the affected people.
Mir as per a statement issued to KNS raised the issue of SSA teachers with the Governor and explained him that there selection has been made through a process and they are employees like other Govt employees.
"Denying them the benefit of 7th pay commission benefits requires immediate relook," he urged.
Mir raised the issue of casual labours and others about whom a policy of regularisation was framed. "But the files of these labourers or being tossed here and there because of which these are suffering," he said.
Mir impressed the policy is to be implemented without any further delay.
Mir also raised the issue of Administrative complex of Tangmarg on which the work has been stopped for the last three years. (KNS)
