Srinagar, Feb 09 (KNS): The J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President G.A. Mir has expressed profound grief over the loss of precious lives in the Snow Avalanche at Jawahar Tunnel and conveyed deepest condolences to bereaved families.
Mir also appreciated the locals for coming to the rescue of those who got trapped in a snow avalanche which has struck Jawahar Tunnel resulting in loss of many precious lives.
In his condolence message G.A. Mir described the loss of lives as very unfortunate, saying that he has no words to express his grief.
G.A. Mir also praised the locals, who came from Omoh, Verinag, Dooru and other adjoining area of Jawahar Tunnel and rescued many people, he added and said State Govt must appreciate the locals for their time help, which saved many precious lives.
Mir prayed for eternal peace to departed souls and strength the bereaved families. (KNS)
