Srinagar, Feb 12 (KNS): Felicitating people on the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivratri, the J&K Pradesh Congress Committee(JKPCC) President G.A. Mir has prayed for peace and stability, hoping that Maha Shivratri will be the harbinger of complete peace in the world especially in State of J&K.
In his message of felicitation, G.A. Mir described Maha Shivratri a unique festival representing composite culture of brotherhood, unity and diversity in this state, saying that Maha Shivratri is a symbol of unity between Pandit brethren and Muslim brethren in this state, which will continue to get strengthened.
Adding that festivals will continue to remain important part of composite culture in the State, providing opportunity to intermingle and exchange ideas with each other, G.A. Mir hoped that this festival will fill the lives of people with joy and happiness.
