Full Dress Rehearsal for R-Day-2020 held across Kashmir valley

 Srinagar, Jan 24 (KNS):  Ahead of the Republic day celebrations, police and security forces besides students from various schools and colleges had a full dress rehearsal of Republic Day parade today in all the districts of Kashmir valley.

 
Various contingents of police, Home Guards, Fire & Emergency Services, Forest Protection Forces, IRP and CAPFs participated in full dress rehearsal for the Republic Day parade.
 
In Srinagar, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir  Baseer Ahmad Khan presided over the parade. On the occasion IGP Kashmir  Vijay Kumar-IPS, DIG CKR  V.K Birdhi-IPS, SSP Srinagar  Haseeb Mughal-JKPS and other senior officers from Police and security forces were present.
 
In Anantnag, Additional District Development Commissioner  Nazir Ahmad Khawaja presided over Republic Day rehearsal parade at Government Boys Degree College Anantnag. On the occasion SSP Anantnag  Altaf Ahmad Khan-JKPS and other senior police and security officers were present.
 
In Baramulla, ACR Baramulla  Mohammad Rafiq Bhat presided over Republic Day rehearsal parade at District Police line Baramulla. ASP Baramulla and other senior police and CAPF officers took part in the dress rehearsal parade.
 
In Ganderbal, ADC Ganderbal   Farooq Ahmad Baba presided over Republic Day rehearsal parade at Gadoora Stadium Ganderbal. On the occasion SSP Ganderbal Khalil Ahmad Poswal-JKPS and other senior police and security officers were present.
 
In Sopore, Additional Dy. Commissioner Sopore   Aashiq Hussain presided over Republic Day rehearsal parade comprising of CRPF, IRP, JKP, JKHG and SPO's at Khushal Stadium Sopore. SSP Sopore Javid Iqbal-JKPS and other senior police and CAPF officers were present on the occasion.
 
Moreover Republic Day rehearsal parades were also held in other districts of Kashmir including district Budgam, Kupwara, Kulgam, Pulwama, Shopian, Awantipora, Sopore and Handwara.
 
The contingents of police and other forces marched past the national flag in all district headquarters.
 
Various colourful cultural programmes were also presented by the students of various schools and colleges. (KNS).
