Fresh snowfall disturbs normal life in Kashmir

 Srinagar, Jan 13 (KNS):  fresh snowfall on Monday disturbed the normal life across the Kashmir valley several major roads were blocked due to heavy snowfall.

reports said the snowfall in the valley was started from Sunday evening was continuing and the normal life was completely disturbed in the valley as the none of the flight have landed or take off from the Srinagar airport  the Srinagar Jammu highway was also closed for the traffic movement.
 
According to KNS   Correspondent the health resort in south Kashmir’s Pahalgam received  3.5 feet’s of snowfall, while as the famous ski resort  Gulmarg in north Kashmir have received 4 feet’s of snow,
 
The tourists in ski resort Gulmarg were seen enjoying the snowfall.
 
the similar reports of snowfall were also received from Kupwara, Baramulla, Bandipora, Ganderbal, , Anantnag, Shopian and Kulgam  have received more than 2 feet’s of snow.
 
The summer capital Srinagar has received 5-6 inches of snowfall.
 
Reports also said the Tangmarg- Gulmarg road was closed for the traffic movement due to landslide at Zig mode due to heavy snowfall in the area.
 
The only road that connects Tangdar and adjoining villages to rest of the world was also closed for the traffic movement due accumulation of snow on the road the road was opened for traffic movement after 4 days on Saturday. (KNS).
