Forest officer’s death: Forest divisions in north Kashmir hold condolence meet

Srinagar, Jan 29 (KNS): A day after the Forest officer, Aijaz Ahmad was crushed to death by an Army vehicle in Handwara village, the forest divisions of north Kashmir on Tuesday held a condolence meeting today and prayer for the departed soul.
According to KNS Correspondent, a condolence meeting was held in JV forest division during Baramulla which the officers from different north Kashmir divisions highlighted the role played by the deceased officer and praised his work.
The officers present in the meeting said that the department has lost dedicated and honest officer in Aijaz’s death.
Conservator North Circle Irfan Rasool Wani, DFO JV Division Parvez Ahmed Wani, Technical officer conservator Hakim Mukhtar, DFO Langate Waseem Farooq, DFO Kehmil Division DP Singh, DFO Kamraj Mahboob Ali, Project Officer Uri Cat Sajjad Hussain, DFO Social Forestry Baramulla Javed Iqbal, DFO Social Forestry Kupwara Fayaz Ahmed, DD FPF Kehmil Division Abdul Hameed Malla and all Range officers foresters were present in the meeting.
The meeting prayed for the eternal peace to the departed and also for the courage of bereaved family. (KNS)
