Srinagar, Mar 18 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah has extended warm greetings to the people on the Urs observance of Hazrat Zain Ud din Wali Reshi (RA).
Party president while greeting the people said, “By educating the masses about the spiritual concerns of the Muslims and fostering brotherhood, Reshis have played an important role in the formation of Muslim society in India. The need of the hour is to emulate the teachings of these great saints in our day to day lives. Our culture bears huge imprints of the teachings of these Reshi sages and saints.”
Party General Secretary Haji Ali Mohammad Sagar has urged the administration to ensure all facilities to the people during the festive occasion.
Meanwhile party chief spokesperson Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi, North Zone President Muhammad Akbar Lone, central zone president Ali Muhammad Dar, women’s wing president Shameema Firdous, MLC Aga Syed Mahmood, including all district presidents have impressed upon the governor administration to ensure all facilities to the people in view of the ensuing Nawroz celebration.
