Srinagar, Feb 10 (KNS): In view of the inclement weather and continuous closure of national highway, Congress leader Kadfeen Choudhary has urged the state government to ensure snow clearance operations are done on priority and essential supplies in the landlocked valley aren’t hit in any way.
Kadfeen in a statement issued here said that amid the harsh winter period, the government must ensure proper heating system in hospitals as well as the availability of sufficient medicines. He also pitched that the emergency sections of government run hospitals are made fully equipped and ready to meet any situation due to the present situation.
Kadfeen further underscored the need to expedite restoration of power supply, inter and intra district road connectivity including highways, drinking water supply, traffic management, operationalization of ensuring adequate stock of essential food items, LPG and Kerosene oil etc. “Availability of Ration, LPG, Kerosene oil and other items need to be made possible on priority and the concerned departments must ensure proper distribution at concerned depots,” Kadfeen said.
