Srinagar, Feb 23 (KNS): Traffic Police Srinagar has asked parents and school administration to ensure no LPG kits are used in school buses or vans.

According to the statement issued to KNS reads, " It has been reported that some school buses / van operators ferrying school children are using LPG Kits in their buses / vans as modification of usage petrol / diesel which endangers life of school going children. The modification is violation of M.V. Act and in such case the vehicle shall be seized."

Accordingly, the parents, school administration and the school bus / van operators ferrying school goers are requested to ensure that no such violation takes place, it added. (KNS)
