Srinagar, Oct 12 (KNS): Inhabitants of Drusoo village of Rafiabad area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla districtThursday expressed their resentment against the Public Health Engineering (PHE) department for ‘failing to repair the water pipeline from last several months.
The inhabitants as per the KNS correspondent, Iqbal Amin said that the water supply pipeline was broken by some miscreants a few months ago but the department fails to repair the pipeline.
“The whole area is facing acute water scarcity due to the official apthy in this regard,” they said, adding that the department has failed to look into the sufferings of people.
“We approached to the higher ups several times in this regard but unfortunately nothing has been done so far,” they said, adding that they are being forced to take streets against the department.
They later appealed the concerned Minister and higher ups of the department to redress their genuine grievance at the earliest. (KNS)
