Srinagar December 15 (KNS): Dr Shafiq Ahmed, Senior Director of Urology, Robotic Urology, Uro Oncology, Andrology and Robotic Renal Transplant at BLK MAX Super Speciality Hospital, received the Face National Health Award 2025. The award ceremony took place at the Constitution Club in New Delhi.
The honour recognises his contribution to training and promoting minimally invasive robotic kidney transplant surgery. His work has helped improve treatment outcomes for patients suffering from kidney failure.
Dr Ahmed said he felt proud and humbled to receive the award.
