Srinagar, 22 July (KNS) : The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah today visited Batwara and Pir Bagh in Srinagar to offer condolences to Pardesi and Naqshbandi families on their bereavement.
In Batwara, Dr. Abdullah visited Senior Party Leader Ghulam Qadir Pardesi to express his heartfelt sympathies over the demise of his sister-in-law. He also conveyed his condolences to Ahsan Pardesi, MLA Lal Chowk, and other members of the bereaved family. Dr. Farooq prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and strength to the family in this hour of grief.
Later, Dr. Farooq visited the family of Late Ghulam Rasool Shah Naqshbandhi, a respected trader, in Pir Bagh to condole the passing of his wife.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelThe deceased was the sister of party veteran and close associate of Sher-e-Kashmir Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah, Khawaja Habbibullah Mir of Dalgate.
Joined by local party functionaries, Dr. Farooq offered Fatiha and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family, particularly Hilal Ahmad Shah Naqshbandhi, Shameem Ahmad Shah Naqshbandhi, and Fayaz Ahmad Shah Naqshbandhi. Senior Leader and MLA Eidgah Mubarak Gul and Party Publicity Secretary Mir GM Saqi also accompanied him during the condolence visits.(KNS)
