Sagar, Nasir, Shami Oberoi visit bereaved Pardesi household at Batwara to offer condolences, Sympathies

Srinagar, July 21 (KNS) : The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr Faooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah have expressed grief over the passing of Smt. Shub Gupta wife of party’s Senior leader, Former MLC and Provincial President Jammu Rattan Lal Gupta.

The duo prayed for peace to the departed soul and fortitude to the bereaved family during this difficult time.

Among others Party General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar, Addl GS Dr. Sheikh Mustafa Kamal, Treasurer Shammi Oberoi, Advisor to HCM Nasir Aslam Wani, Chief Spokesperson Tanvir Sadiq, Provincial President Kashmir Showkat Ahmad Mir, Members of Parliament Mian Altaf Ahmad and Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi, along with Political Advisors Mushtaq Ahmad Guroo and Mudassar Shahmiri have also extended sympathies and condolences to the grief stricken family.

Meanwhile a condolence meeting was held at the party headquarters, Nawa-e-Subha, Srinagar, under the chairmanship of the Party’s General Secretary Haji Ali Muhammad Sagar to express heartfelt sympathy with senior party leader and Provincial President Jammu, Shri Rattan Lal Gupta, on the sudden demise of his wife.

The gathering observed a two-minute silence to pray for the eternal peace of the departed soul. On the occasion, Provincial President Kashmir, Adv. Showkat Ahmad Mir, passed a condolence resolution, expressing solidarity with the bereaved Gupta family.

Later in the day, a party delegation led by General Secretary Haji Ali Muhammad Sagar including Advisor to HCM Nasir Aslam Wani, and Treasurer Shammi Oberoi visited Batwara to offer condolences to MLA Lal Chowk, Ahsan Pardesi, on the passing of his aunt, wife of the Late Sheikh Ghulam Hassan. The delegation offered Fatiha and prayed for the departed soul’s eternal peace. As the day progressed Party functionaries from the parent body, YNC, Women’s Wing, Minority wing, Media and Social Media also visited the bereaved family at Batwara. (KNS)
