Doda, Dec 6 (KNS) : In a firm display of internal accountability, Doda Police have registered an FIR against an Assistant Sub-Inspector of the department after he was found involved in an alleged assault case.
The action follows a written complaint filed on December 3 at Police Post DH Doda by Anzar Majid Malik. In his statement, Malik accused Ghulam Ali, son of Mohd. Maqbool Dar of Sadeeqabad Doda, of wrongfully restraining and assaulting him.

Reiterating its zero-tolerance policy towards misconduct within its ranks, the department has allowed the legal process to move forward without hesitation. Officials said the investigation is ongoing and further action will follow as per law.(KNS)
