Srinagar, Sep 9 (KNS): Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Anshul Garg on Wednesday chaired a meeting to review and address issues related to the Medicity project in Srinagar.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner Srinagar Akshay Labroo and senior officers from the Srinagar Development Authority (SDA), Roads and Buildings (R&B) Department, SIDCO, Industries and Commerce Department and Project Coordinator Sajad Nazir Shah.
Detailed discussions were held on the demarcation of land earmarked for the Medicity project and provision of a 15-metre Right of Way (RoW) or buffer area between the new Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh High Court complex and the Medicity.
Garg took note of the issues raised by the departments concerned and the executing agency and directed officials to conduct a joint inspection of the site to resolve the land demarcation issue.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He also directed that revenue officers from the concerned departments be associated with the demarcation process to ensure that the land is demarcated strictly as per the approved plan of 2021.
The Divisional Commissioner stressed the need to ensure the requisite Right of Way to the Medicity project so that its implementation proceeds smoothly without further impediments.
Deputy Commissioner Srinagar assured all possible support for facilitating an early resolution of the issue.
Earlier, the project coordinator briefed the meeting on the approved Medicity plan and the proposed Right of Way.(KNS)
