Srinagar, Sep 06 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Government late Thursday evening ordered the transfer of Director General of Police Dr S P Vaid and directed Dilbagh Singh to take charge as Director General of Jammu and Kashmir Police till a regular arrangement is made.
An order issued from the Jammu and Kashmir Government's Home Department said 'Dr S P Vaid Director General of Police Dr S P Vaid IPS Officer of 1986 batch of J&K cadre is transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of General Adminstration Department for further posting as Transport Commissioner.
Dilbagh Singh IPS Officer of 1987 batch of J&K cadre will hold the charge as Director General of Police in addition to his own duties till a regular arrangement is made." (KNS)
