Srinagar, Nov 22 (KNS): Despite rains and snowfall lashing Kashmir valley on Friday, Srinagar-Jammu national highway remained open for one-way traffic.

A traffic police official told KNS that traffic from Jammu to Srinagar plied normally on the highway on Friday. He said subject to weather conditions, the traffic from Srinagar to Jammu will ply on the highway on Saturday.

Since the beginning of this month, weather in Kashmir has remained gloomy with heavy snowfall on November 7 crippling life across the Valley for several days. (KNS)
