Srinagar, Jan 21 (KNS): Many socio and religious organizations have expressed grief over the demise of former Auqaf President of Jamia Masjid Shopian, Master Nazir Ahmad Khan.
Former president Auqaf Jamia Masjid Shopian Master Nazir Ahmad khan passed away yesterday after brief illness at Soura Medical Institute Srinagar.
The deceased was pious and embodiment of many virtues and as such his death has been mourned by a large section of society.
Besides Former MLA Shopian Advocate Muhammad Yousuf Bhat, former MLA Wachi Ajaz Ahmad Mir, National Conference leader Advocate Shabir Ahmad Kulay, Citizens Welfare Society Shopian, Coordination Committee Shopian and other religious organisations in their condolence messages prayed for the departed soul and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family.
