Delinking of salaries of ReT teachers likely after finalization of budged estimates by Dec end: Govt

Srinagar, Dec 03 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Government is likely to take a call on a proposal seeking delinking of salaries of Rehbar-e-Taleem (ReT) teachers and simultaneously accord a sanction to it after December 20 when the budged estimates will be finalized.
A top government official on conditions of anonymity told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that a proposal for delinking of salaries of ReT teachers is likely to be taken up for consideration and subsequent sanction by State Administrative Council (SAC) exercising the powers of cabinet after December 20 the day when the budget estimates will be finalized. With the delinking of salaries of ReT teachers, their long pending demand triggering protests for last three years will be met and they will be getting salaries in time as are getting the other regular employees of the government.
