Wani fell from building while dousing fire at Koker Bazaar Sunday night

Srinagar, Dec 12 (KNS): Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Dr. Syed Abid Rashid Shah, Monday visited the critically injured fireman Abdul Majid Wani at SMHS Hospital where he is admitted in the SICU.
Wani was critically injured having fallen from the third storey of a building while dousing the fire having broken out at Koker Bazaar hereSunday evening.
Dr. Shah while consoling the family of the injured fireman assured of best possible treatment and care as well as making sure all kinds of support are provided to him.
He said Wani’s efforts prevented a major catastrophe and saved not just properties worth millions but many lives too.
Dr. Shah also handed a relief amount to the family of the injured fireman on the occasion.
Speaking to his family, he said the district administration owes Wani a lot for his valiant efforts and would make sure that Wani is not just offered the best possible treatment and medical care but is also appropriately rewarded.
The DC instructed the CMO Srinagar, who was also present on the occasion, to ensure Wani is offered the best medical care and his family all possible kinds of support needed.
Dr. Shah prayed for Wani’s recovery and also appealed the attendants present in the hospital to make prayers for his recovery. (KNS)
