Srinagar, Mar 20 (KNS): A culvert damaged by incessant rains and intermittent snowing this year has disconnected Bhat Mohalla Bunpora Hangah village with the main town Langate.
A legion of complainants told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that the damaged bridge awaiting repairs for last couple of months is not being repaired despite repeated reminders by locals to the concerned authorities of R&B department.
Alleging that the authorities of R&B department are turning a deaf ear to the continuing public outcry even after the re-opening of schools ten days back, the locals sought the immediate intervention of Deputy Commissioner Kupwara for early repairs of the culvert to ensure that miseries and sufferings of a huge population of Hangah village disconnected with Langate town are addressed.
