Srinagar, Mar 30 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) president, Ghulam Ahmad Mir on Saturday exuded confidence that the party will emerge victorious on both the seats of Jammu region.

As per Kashmir News Service (KNS) correspondent, Mir while talking to reporters on the sidelines of the function in Jammu, said that “we hope that we will emerge victorious on both the seats including Jammu-Udhampur, Doda-Rajouri in the upcoming elections.”

He added that the party is hopeful that people will cast their ballots in the favour of Congress candidates.

However, there was cold response from Mir over the party’s former leader Sham Lal Sharma’s joining in BJP today. Mir when asked about the development said he has no information in this regard. (KNS)
