Srinagar May 14 (KNS): Srinagar District Congress Committee Saturday strongly protested against the innocent killings and urged the Govt to take effective measure to put an end to the unabated bloodshed in Kashmir.
Srinagar District Congress Committee President Haji Abdul Gani Khan and Working DCC President Mir Ruvais led peaceful protest of party workers against the innocent killing in Kashmir in which various party leaders, blocks presidents, Corporators, frontal organizations participated and expresses their solidarity with the families of martyrs.
The participants expressed grave concern over the deteriorated security situation in Kashmir, blaming the Govt failures to contain the loss of precious lives of innocent people. They also and marched peaceful on MA Azad Road in solidarity with the martyred innocent civilians and Policemen.
Among other who participated in the protest included PCC General Secretary Shameema Iqbal, Vice President PYC Amir Raool,Vice President Mahila Congress Sopori, District General Secretaries Hilal Ahmad Wani, Zulfkar Quresi, Raja Misgar, Haleem Khan MC Sgr President Saira Shah, Senior Leaders Gulam Mohd Shiekh, Ruhulla Gazi, Corporator Asif Beigh, District Secretaries Javed Ahmad, Muzaffar Shah, Khursheed Patoo, Zahid Bashir, Org Secretaries Gulzar Ahmad, Rameez Ahmad, Rahil Jan, Mehreen, Tamsila Mandoo, Fayaz Ahmad,Jamsheeda Bano (Newly Joined) and various other prominent party workers of Sriangar.(KNS)
