Srinagar, Jul 11 (KNS): The J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC)General Secretary Hilal Ahmad Shah today visited Apple Growers at Khiribal in Anantnag, who have suffered immensely losses due to the Alterniya disease causing severe damages to crops especially Apple.
Expressing serious concern over the loss to Apple Growers, Hilal Ahmad Shah emphasized the Governor N. N. Vora to take effective measures benefitting Apple Growers.
He demanded adequate compensation to Apple Growers besides waving of their KCC loans, as that, they will not be able to repay the loan availed by them.
He also assured the growers that Congress Party will highlight their grievances for their redressal. (KNS)
