Congress J&K President Appoints Jammu HQ Coordination Committee

 Jammu, Jan 11 (KNS): The J&K Congress president, Tariq Hameed Karra, has appointed a coordination team to assist the in-charge of the PCC headquarters, Ved Mahajan, for the smooth functioning of the party office.

 
In a communication to the news agency Kashmir News Service (KNS), the party stated that Iqbal Dar has been appointed as the co-incharge of the headquarters. Others appointed as coordinators include Virinder Singh Manhas, Latesh Sharma, Rajesh Sharma, Vijyant Pathania, Ram Mangotra, and Rakesh Sharma.
 
Notably, earlier this month, All India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary and Member of Parliament K.C. Venugopal announced the appointment of 21 new district presidents across the Union Territory.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
 
This marks the first major step in the party’s strategic plan to regain its influence and rebuild its base in the UT.
 
Speaking to the news agency Kashmir News Service (KNS), a senior Congress leader said that this is a decisive move to bolster the Congress party’s presence in Jammu and Kashmir, with new appointments having been made.
 
He added that the newly appointed leaders are tasked with revitalizing the party in their respective districts and strengthening its outreach to the masses. (KNS)
