Highlighting the ongoing efforts of the Omar Abdullah-led elected government, Ramzan said that the government is sincerely working towards bridging development gaps, strengthening governance, and restoring public trust in institutions. He added that the elected dispensation has also opened up corridors of power for the common people, ensuring greater accessibility, accountability, and responsiveness in administration.
He reiterated that meaningful development, institutional credibility and lasting peace can only be achieved when democratic rights are fully restored and people are empowered through an elected, full-fledged state government.
Chowdary assured the delegations that the National Conference will continue to raise the voice of the people at all appropriate forums until the legitimate demand for statehood is realized.(KNS).
